Beavr

Terms of use

Last updated October 31, 2026

Draft: this page is still being completed and reviewed.

These terms are an agreement between you and Beavr LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("we") for using Beavr. By creating an account or joining a household you accept them. Our privacy policy (beavr.me/privacy) explains how we handle your data.

Who can use Beavr

You must be an adult (18 or older, or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or join a household. Children use Beavr only through a kid profile in Kid mode on a grown-up's phone, under that grown-up's supervision. Only a kid's parent or guardian, or an adult with their permission, may add a kid profile.

Your household

The person who creates a household is its admin. The admin manages the subscription and can remove anyone. Partners can do almost everything the admin can, except manage the subscription and remove the admin. Helpers can see the household and help with day-to-day tasks. You are responsible for whom you invite, and for sharing sitter links only with people you trust: anyone with a link can use it until it ends or you turn it off.

A household can have up to 10 people. One account can be in up to 5 households.

Your content

What you put in Beavr stays yours. You give us permission to store it, copy it to your household's devices and show it to the people you share it with, only to run Beavr. You are responsible for having the right to add what you add, including information about other people, such as your kids, a sitter or an emergency contact.

Acceptable use

Don't use Beavr to break the law, harass anyone, store content that sexualizes minors, try to get into other households or our systems, overload the service, or copy or resell it. We may suspend or end access for anyone who does.

Subscriptions

Adding a third adult to a household requires a Beavr subscription. One subscription covers the whole household.

Changes and availability

Beavr changes over time: we may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available or work without errors. If we stop offering Beavr, we will give reasonable notice first.

Not for emergencies or medical decisions

Reminders and alerts can be late or fail to arrive (for example, when a phone is offline or notifications are off). Don't rely on Beavr alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm, such as medicine for a person or a pet.

Ending

You can stop using Beavr and delete your account at any time (Profile > Delete account). Deleting your account doesn't cancel a store subscription: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play. We may end these terms or your access if you seriously or repeatedly break them. If that happens to a household's only admin, the household is handled as if they had deleted their account (see beavr.me/account-deletion).

Disclaimers and liability

Beavr is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by contract.

TODO-LEGAL: limitation of liability wording and amount

Law and disputes

TODO-LEGAL: governing law and courts (Arizona is likely, not yet confirmed). If you live in the EU or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes here with a new date, and tell you in advance, by email or in the app, before significant changes take effect. If you keep using Beavr after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can stop using Beavr and delete your account.

Apple

If you got Beavr from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to support Beavr, isn't responsible for claims about it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them. Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement applies where these terms don't cover something.
