Delete your Beavr account

You can delete your Beavr account and its data at any time, from the app.

In the app

• Open Beavr and go to Profile.
• Tap Delete account. Beavr shows what will happen in each household you're in.
• Type "delete" and confirm. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm first.

What is deleted

• Your login, your name and email, your settings, your alerts and your phones' push registrations.
• Your Sign in with Apple authorization, which we revoke with Apple.
• Your name on past activity in your households, which becomes "Former member".
• Beavr's copy of your households on the phone you deleted from.

Copies in our database backups are gone within 35 days, and server logs within 30 days.

What happens to your households

Shared things you added, such as events and grocery items, stay with the household, because the others use them; they show "Former member" instead of your name.

• If you are a household's only admin and it has a partner, the partner who joined first becomes admin and everyone is told.
• If there is no partner, the household closes: its invites and sitter links stop working and all its data is erased 30 days later.

To remove only yourself from one household, use Leave household in Profile instead.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription you bought in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your store subscription settings.

Can't open the app?

Write to privacy@beavr.me from the email address on your account and we will delete it for you. We may ask you to confirm it is your account.
